As a result, a number of national and state regulations (e.g. NSW Department of Planning: Applying SEPP33 and Hazardous Industry Planning Advisory Papers), as well as those of the U.S., European Union and other international regulators, have adopted PSM in one form or another for implementation at Major Hazard Facilities.
